Classes will probably run in this order, but we may need to change the order based on the numbers of entries.  Entry fees £60 each (inc VAT and £6.00 first aid).  Teams are of 3 or 4 riders in the same section/class.  Courses will be open for walking 9am-5pm on Friday 17th May 2024 or on the day.

Class 1A 70cm Junior

Class 1B 70cm Senior

SJ & Cross-country fences max 70cm.
SJ Speed: 340mpm.  Cross-Country speed: 400mpm. (Page 75 BRC Handbook)

Class 2A 80cm Junior

Class 2B 80cm Senior

SJ & Cross-country fences max 80cm.
SJ Speed: 340mpm.  Cross-Country speed: 435mpm. 

Class 3 90cm Mixed Senior/Junior

SJ & Cross-country fences max 90cm.
SJ Speed: 340mpm.  Cross-Country speed: 450mpm. 

Class 4 100cm Mixed Senior/Junior

SJ & Cross-country fences max 100cm.
SJ Speed: 340mpm.  Cross-Country speed: 475mpm. 

RULES

This Competition will be run in accordance with British Riding Club Rules for Competitions.

Entry is open to all affiliated Riding Clubs in Area 17. Competitors only are permitted to ride the horse on the show ground.

British Riding Clubs, Moreton Equestrian Centre and persons acting on their behalf, do not accept any liability for any loss, accident or damage to any person, animal, vehicle or goods occurring in connection with this event. It is a condition of entry that each competitor indemnifies the organiser against any claim.

Whilst mounted, competitors must wear the correct riding clothes.

Competitors must report to the steward and be ready to ride up to 10 minutes before the allotted time.

VACCINATIONS : The Passport/vaccination Certificate must, under penalty of elimination, accompany the horse to all official competitions, the competitor is responsible for producing it on demand.

HEALTH AND SAFETY : The organisers and land owners have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present, for these measures to be effective, everyone must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards and take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring.

Horses or ponies must not be tied up outside boxes or trailers and left unattended.          

Dogs must be kept on short leads at all times.

Detailed Entries on Excel Entry form (sent separately) to be emailed by Team Managers to Sue Russell by 8th May 2024, copied to Susie Pool for flu vac checking.

Payment details are on the Combined Challenger Area 17 entry form 2024.                   

Times will available from 6pm on 16th May at Eventing Scores or Riding Club Results

Rosettes to 6th place and prizes in kind to 3rd place.

HEALTH AND SAFETY: The organisers of this competition have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring, and must obey the instructions of officials and stewards.

HAT TAGGING:-  Hats must be tagged (PINK is current colour) before competitors will be allowed to ride.(Checking in log cabin)

BODY PROTECTORS ARE COMPULSORY

Stop watches are NOT permitted

  • The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry.
  • Objections must be made within 20 minutes of posting the results, accompanied by a fee of £10, which will be re-funded if the objection is upheld.
  • All dogs on leads at all times – no exceptions. Instant £20 fine.
