Meon Open Show Jumping Show Inc the Area Qualifier, Nov 2025, Crofton

This was Meon’s big annual Showjumping show, but with the added excitement (read stress for organiser) of the area 17 qualifier thrown in!
Amy Richardson had to jump through lots of hoops and battle numerous classes and sections on RCR, but managed to succeed in keeping the team elements in all the classes. This open team element is something quite unique, and makes this whole event special.
Meon could not have done this without the support of Liphook Equine Hospital because teams means lots of frillies! And once again Liphook sponsored the beautiful rosettes for us in all the Open classes.
This year for the first time we also had prizes for the winners of the Open classes. We had generous donations from Shedfield Country Stores, TL Photography, Dengie Horse Feeds, and The Golden Paste Company. Thank you for your support, the winners of the prizes were extremely pleased indeed.
The day went really well, just under 150 entries kept the arena, warm-up and carpark, buzzing all day. The courses were challenging and twisty and made for good competition. The qualifier classes were well supported by area 17 clubs and the clubs supplied great helpers too, thank you.
Well done Meon for running another successful qualifier, that’s 2 this year! Amy and her team were awesome, and a shout out to Sharon, Lara and Lily who helped from start to finish on a long but successful day!
