Area 17 SJ Qualifier 22nd Feb 2025 Crofton by Dot Mills 

Sprinkles and I were very excited to be doing the 60 cm qualifier for Area 17!   
We arrived on a very wet morning, the warm up arena had a pond! We were all ready for our round at 9.02 so off we went down to the main arena. Unfortunately the class started a bit late so Sprinkles went on snooze mode. Finally in the ring, on a sleepy cob…. knocking the first jump, Sprinkles was like ooops – so sorry!
Whizzing round the rest of the course, doing the most amazing turns in the air, to finish 14 seconds faster than everyone else … so the unlucky pole cost us the win.
Coming in an amazing second though which I am so happy with as we have not competed since December, and having her holiday in January, she felt so good.
Sprinkles had given her best and we flew round! We have just heard that we have been invited to the champs in April at Arena UK… how lucky are we?!
